"KING" - The Kingsize Comedy...

Yeah,  I had been to the premier show of the movie King here in Fremont, California.
Believe me or not this was one of the best times i have had in US of A. A house full show where atleast 50 of them are seated in temporary chairs in front of the screen, People whistling at the entry of the Hero and Heroine, People shouting to begin the show and also few of Nagarjuna Fans throwing Papers strips for his entry(It serves as a replacement for Lottery Tickets which is used in India for the same occasion)

All these wonderful things made me realize the world is soo small and there is sooo much of us in here.... i gave me all the great experience of watching a First Day First Show of any movie which releases in Urvasi Theater( that tooo by bunking my college).....

I have been missing this kind of an experience from last 3 years ( From when i came to Pune)
this movie took me to my wonderful memories of enjoying a movie in a fultoo Indian way....

it was just a trigger, a small glitch even before the titles started in the screen made people shout. As always its just Indianness that we keep quiet just for the reason what other's will think about... but a small trigger can bring out all your Indianness.....

to Add to it, the movie also was wonderful comedy.... good time pass...

it's a very important n required to be inspired in whatever.....
Especially 4 bachelors like me at
onsite away from home n friends
inspiration is a very necessary to keep you going..... Not everyone is
here just to make money... There r other great things in world to
value about
But for me there is no motivation or inspiration here,
but
everyone feels that I should be self motivated coz I get paid in
$'s, I tried buying motivation in $'s but couldn't find it anywhere
..... I googled it, I
amazoned it, I ebayed it, but couldn't buy it,
hey someone please help me find it... I badly need it to survive here
coz my office life is around 70% of my life here.....

I am a new kid on the block here at onsite..... After all exitement
of 2 months with new country new things etc.... I started feeling bored
and tried to understand what motivates others over here to stay here
for such a long times....

I was surprised to know that the only motivation at onsite is money.....
Is it a right approach? Is it a right image the company has built on it's employees...
Or am I within a wrong group where they have choosen this motivation?
I be tried this with pol who r here from a couple of years, ppl who r from >5
years... But every where that is the case.....

Everyone has his own way to choose his motivation and if that is money it is his choice,
But in a profession is it the way u motivate your subordinates / team ??

I think there is no answer as of now with me for this.... but sure I know that money is the only answer i have for now

After a much of confusion and persusasion and struggle... finally the Plan was in place for the weekend on Friday evening around 6:30 PM..... Still a lot of things were to be done...
We booked an SUV for two days - and were supposed to get the vehicle on saturday at 7 AM.
At around 7:45 PM we were able to get free and left office - went to Walmart to Pickup some stuff for the Trip.... returned at around 10 PM.
Saturday morning myself and Manju were ready by 8:30 AM, Biju called to let me know that he is ready and waiting for us to pick him up.... ( Poor Guy didnt know that the actual Plan was to depart by 10:30 AM) ... We reached Canyon Creek - Parked the Car there and went walking to the Vehicle Renting office - it was damn far and Manju had bluffed its just across the street...

Finally reached the Vehicle Renting Office, there is a desi couple waiting before us and there is only one person on duty that day to add to my irritation - after a long wait then we were tols that the Vehicle is not yet available - it is is some other center and they r waiting for Hikers to get it to our location....

We were advised to wait for 1.5 Hrs - it was painful to kill time there without any work.... unless in India we can go to a chail tapri and strike a conversation with anyoune around and kill time...
Finally found an Office Depot just nearby - so we went there to kill some time - the wait period of 1.5 hrs was incresed to 2 Hrs... all others at home were pretty inqusitive of whats happening...

Finally after 2 Hrs - we got the vehicle... its a BUICK - ENCLAVE - the powerful big beast...
The wait was worth - the Vehicle was a pretty new....

Came back to Canyon creek - picked up Venky,Sandeep,Adarsh,Biju and mayuresh...
Stuffed all the luggae and ourselves into the vehicles and we were off to the Road Trip....
It was nice for some time and after a few miles we entered a smaller road which took us into the country side of US... that was a good experience..... Large and a number of windmills... beautiful mountaines dried up to a golden colour... lots of cattle grazing at the sides, junk yards as seen in Horror Movies and thrillers, Motels... of Cow boy style, the wodden Barrels at the sides of the road.... as we proceeded ahead after a hundreds of miles we went into a hilly region - single road (yes guys there are single roads in US also) both the sides covered by Pine Trees..... The altitude increasing to around 4000 ft from sea level..... and our stomachs asking for some break we started munching our snacks..... and the journey continues until we reached Calaveras Bigtrees State Park....
Wake Up!!!

Dunh - we banged into the wooden fence which was in the Parking - Manju got confused with the Reverse Gear - as it was different in this vehicle than his avalon.....
The Guards in the Park came running - "hey thats an accident we need to make a report".... :) Accident - A dead Wooden Log is bent over and he calls it an accident - Cant help - itys their Country - He Called out for the Ranger - The Ranger came there made a report and ther was a officer from the sheriff's Dept - with this ultra Zoon Cam - Takes some Pictures of the car and the wood.... Finally the report is done and they let us to go around the park.... ( Good we had asked for Full Coverage Insurance)........

Moonlight Trek to RajMachi....
Saturday morning 10 AM... I got ready and went out for BreakFast....
Met Loki and Aravind in the hotel, Suddenly their office friends appeared and put colours on him... and eventually every one was pulled into ir and we played a great Holi...
Loki asked me about my plans for the evening and I told them about the trek
They were excited about the night trek and said that they would join me( Poor Guys they never knew they had to wall more than 20 KMS one way!!)
We packed our stuff by 9 PM and left for the shivajinagar station - it was raining heavily in Pune and we havent had our dinner yet.... qwe had some bhel and omlets in the station and were waiting for the Organinser of the trek to arrive...
the trqain was late by 15 mins... we boarded the crowded Lonawala Local by 10:15 PM and then qwe got our seats to sit after Talegaon station - It was a good feel travelling in a local... Reached Lonawala Station by 11:30 PM.
Had a round of instructions from Anand.. who was leading the trek...
We started to walk towards our base camp Udhewadi which is around 20 KM from Lonawala... we had a round of intoduction on the way....
It was tyring to walk for suck a long distance and as usual I was one among the last to make it and finally after 4 pitstops we reached Udhewadi around 4:30 AM in the morning and we got rest of 1.5 hrs and got up at 6 AM to have delicious hot Poha for breakfast....
by 7 AM we left for the fort which was around 2 KMS from the village and was about a 30 MIN trek to reach the summit of the fort... it was wonderful to see from the top... cool breeze to add to the excitement.... As the sun began to heat up we decended down...
and rested for some time... now the group headed to the 2nd fort the Manoranjan fort... I was exhausted and choose to rest....
Once the group was back from Manoranjan we went back to the BaseCamp aroun 12 PM and had some cool refreshing Nimbu paani... and were waiting for the Lunch..
We were served Lunch around 1:00 PM... I was not able to walk properly as my muscels had given up and were craving for rest...
